A legal disclaimer

At Plants & Ponds, we value the trust you place in us during our consultations. To protect our creative and intellectual work, we maintain the following confidentiality and privacy policy during all client interactions—especially initial consultations.

1. Confidential Information

During consultations, Plants & Ponds may share original concepts, designs, proposals, methods, strategies, sketches, or verbal ideas related to:

  • Urban agriculture systems

  • Landscape designs

  • Custom greenhouse and grow space structures

  • Water features and outdoor installations

These are considered Confidential Information and are shared for the purpose of evaluation only.

2. Client Obligations

By participating in a consultation with Plants & Ponds, the client agrees to:

  • Not disclose, share, reproduce, or use any part of the shared information for personal, commercial, or third-party purposes without written permission from Plants & Ponds.

  • Not replicate or authorize others to replicate any design, concept, or solution discussed during the consultation.

  • Use the information solely for deciding whether to engage Plants & Ponds for services.

3. No License or Ownership

Participation in a consultation does not grant the client ownership or license to use any of Plants & Ponds’ intellectual property or designs unless agreed upon in a signed services contract.

4. Mutual Confidentiality 

If desired, both parties may agree that any sensitive information disclosed by the client to Plants & Ponds during the consultation will also be kept confidential, unless disclosure is required by law.

5. Duration

This confidentiality obligation will remain in effect indefinitely with respect to each consultation, or until such time as the disclosed material becomes public through no fault of the client.
